A note from the director

Since its establishment in 1979, the Computer and Information Center (CIC) is responsible for the planning, delivery and support of the main computing facilities at Yarmouk University. This includes the University's network infrastructure, in-house ERP systems, web infrastructure, email services, management services, and student computing facilities.

Currently, CIC is planning to implement a key transformation to expand its services to YU students, staff, and upper management. This includes: migrating on-premises to cloud infrastructure, expanding wireless internet access, upgrading YU’s ERP systems to cope with new access technologies, expand the online payment services on our modern website, and adopt intelligent tools and applications that enhance the workflow at YU campuses and support the decision-making process.

We, at CIC, believe that a sustainable learning environment is highly affected by the continuous development of computing facilities and services. It is our mission to lead this process and support the organization with the appropriate computing infrastructure and services.
