Tasks

  • Manage all servers that host the applications and services developed by this division, and ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Develop Web sites, Web applications, e-learning, e-mail services, faculty websites, e-clerk system, archiving system, employees and student portals, etc.
  • Provision of Google Apps services, e-mail service, and Office 365 services for employees and students.
  • Implement all tasks and changes requested from related departments, and solve the technical problems encountered in their work.
  • Follow-up and management of tasks in the division to ensure the progress of work properly, qualifying members of the division to involve them in the process of development, maintenance, systems management, and documentation according to the adopted policies.
  • Supervise the systems and programs to ensure their integrity and functioning properly.

  • Web sites of: the university, faculties, scientific centers, administrative departments, procurement, bidding, courses schedule, conferences, graduate annual books, publications, student guide, phone directory, media network, etc.
  • Staff Portal: to avail all information and services of the university employees in one location (Single Sign-on).
  • Digital Warehouse (YU Dspace): which contains a summary of the University’s thesis and Arabic Journals.
  • e-learning system using (moodle) integrated with student information system (SIS).
  • Online Application Systems for administrative, academic and scholarship vacancies.
  • e-clerk and archiving system for all the organization units in the university.
