Tasks

  • Develop Academic Systems that include programs of under graduates, graduates, students' fees, student affairs, and faculty member’s assessment, etc., in coordination with related faculties and departments.
  • Implement all tasks and changes requested from related faculties and departments and solve the technical problems encountered in their works.
  • Follow-up and management of tasks in the division to ensure the progress of work properly, qualifying members of the division to involve them in the process of development, maintenance, systems management, and documentation according to the adopted policies.
  • Supervise the systems and programs to ensure their integrity and functioning properly.

Systems developed and supervised by the division

  • Student Information System (SIS), for undergraduate and graduate students, which includes the following programs: admissions, registration, grades, fees, health insurance, student clubs, transfer from one major to another, internship.
  • Integrating with the Cairo Amman Bank to receive student’s fees from all branches.
  • Online enrollment for new undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Faculty member’s assessment program.
  • Graduate students Follow-up System.
  • Integrating with e-Fawateer to receive student’s fees online over Internet. 

 

  • Integrating with Counterfeit Combat System using QR Code technology to combat YU Official Documents fraud.
